About

This blog is one scholar’s attempt to render his public service by expanding public minds, criticizing public affairs, and acting as a portal to other good writing on his areas of expertise. You may read the prospectus of the blog in this post.

Comment Policy:

Don’t be dumb. Polemical vigor is acceptable, witty and humorous insults encouraged, but farcical abuse discouraged to the point that I will crush you with the arbitrary fist of comment deletion as I see fit. Site contributors have absolute and final say about who gets to contribute to the comments on their posts.  Also: relevance. Try to speak to the topic of the post you’re commenting on. If you simply want attention, I’m sure you can find it elsewhere.
